Sometimes referred to as Mr. Capalot, or Polo Capalot the ace rapper of Chicago Illinois, started gaining the attention of fans after he launched songs on YouTube. His first songs were Come Up and never Cared. He also made his SoundCloud debut by releasing the mixtape, the official polo.g SOUND CLOUD. Gang With Me, his debut single, quickly followed by his hit single The Finer Things. This one was written when he was in prison. This song was his first success and it earned him millions of YouTube views, bringing him to the forefront. In the following months, big record companies began showing an interest. Pop Out, featuring Lil Tjay is finally out after the rapper signed an Columbia Records distribution agreement. The song earned millions of views on YouTube and peaked at number 22 in the Billboard Hot 100 marking the first song to chart for the artist. Polo G rose to fame for his work as a YouTube artist and also gained quite a bit of fame on other platforms, such as Instagram or Twitter.
