Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman won three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics, in London. She also took home a bronze on balance beam. In 2012, she became one of the few American athlete to achieve the highest number of medals in the Olympics. The 2016 Olympics brought her a gold at the team competition, which earned Gabby as well as Gabby the distinction as the first Americans to ever win consecutive gold medals for a team. Additionally, she took home two silver medals for the floor exercise and the individual all-around. Between the two Olympics she took a break from gymnastics competition for three years. Also, she has been an athlete on two gold medal winning world championship teams. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice when she was two and her most favorite sport is floor exercises. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group to honor her late grandmother. She hopes to become an entrepreneur in fashion and broaden her line of Leotards and socks in coming years. Fierce is a novel she's working on, will be published later in the year.
